Job Title: Senior Business Analyst

Join our dynamic team supporting a Government client in Rosslyn, VA, as a Business Systems Analyst III. In this vital role, you'll develop innovative business strategies, enhance system performance, and serve as a key liaison between business and IT functions—all contributing to impactful government initiatives. Your expertise will directly influence how the organization improves efficiency, enhances customer satisfaction, and manages technological risks.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, IT, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with project management expertise at a senior level
• Proven experience in Business Process Modeling
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with stakeholders and teams
• Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret metrics and derive insights
• Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on exceeding user expectations
• Problem-solving and analytical capabilities to address complex issues creatively
• Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in developing and executing SQL or Python queries

Nice to Have Skills:

• Knowledge of cloud environments
• Familiarity with Databricks
• Experience with Microsoft Visio and Access

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required; advanced degrees are a plus
• Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in business analysis and project management
• Prior experience supporting government or federal agencies a plus

Other Requirements:

• Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance
• US Citizenship is mandatory
• Must have resided in the US for the last 5 years and not traveled outside the US for more than 6 months in the past 5 years
• Location: Arlington, VA, with the flexibility to telework 1 day per week
