Role & responsibilities
- Hiring & Onboarding:
- Execute bulk and lateral hiring for warehouse roles such as pickers, packers, loaders, and supervisors
- Coordinate with manpower vendors and recruitment partners for timely closures
- Ensure smooth onboarding, documentation, induction, and workforce deployment
- Maintain hiring trackers and recruitment MIS (daily/weekly reports)
2. Leave & Attendance Management:
- Track and manage daily attendance, shift rosters, weekly offs, and leave records
- Coordinate with operations and payroll teams for accurate attendance closure
- Monitor absenteeism trends and take corrective actions
- Ensure accuracy in attendance data for wages, overtime, and incentives
3. Attrition Control:
- Analyze attrition data and identify root causes
- Conduct stay interviews and exit interviews
- Implement retention initiatives in collaboration with operations teams
- Work closely with supervisors to address workforce concerns and reduce attrition
4. Employee Engagement & Relations:
- Plan and execute engagement activities at the warehouse level
- Drive communication initiatives, recognition programs, and HR connect sessions
- Address employee grievances and maintain healthy employee relations
- Act as a bridge between management and frontline workforce
5. Training & Development:
- Coordinate induction and on-the-job training (OJT) for new joiners
- Support safety, process, and behavioral training initiatives
- Track training attendance and effectiveness
- Partner with operations teams to identify ongoing training needs
6. HR Operations & Compliance:
- Manage contract labor workforce and coordinate with vendors
- Support payroll inputs validation and coordination with payroll team
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and documentation
- Maintain HR MIS reports and dashboards using Excel/HRMS Required Qualifications &
Skills
- Graduation (Bachelors Degree Non-Engineering preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in HR operations within warehouse, logistics, or e-commerce setup
- Strong exposure to bulk blue-collar hiring and manpower management
- Experience in attendance, leave management, and payroll coordination
- Good understanding of attrition control, engagement, and grievance handling
- Proficiency in MS Excel and HR reporting tools
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
