Hiring: R&D Technician – Product Development (Food Industry)

We are looking for a R&D Technician to support product development and innovation projects within our Taste Elevation business across North America. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong scientific background who enjoys working in a lab environment and contributing to real product commercialization.

Role Overview

You will play a key role in supporting technical development projects focused on innovation and renovation of food products. This position requires someone who can manage multiple tasks, work independently, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct analytical testing of food products and packaging in a laboratory setting
• Accurately record, analyze, and manage data
• Support product development and commercialization activities
• Assist Food Scientists with lab and pilot plant experiments (ingredient prep, processing, packaging)
• Manage lab inventory, sanitation, and sample logistics (shipping/receiving)
• Perform shelf-life studies and support initial production trials

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related STEM field (Preferred: Food/Dairy/Meat Science or Food/Chemical Engineering)
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
