Civil Project Manager ( Data Center Construction core & shell )

Role & responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of civil, structural, and architectural (Core & Shell) works for hyperscale data center projects
• Review and validate Design Basis Reports (DBR), structural calculations, architectural concepts, and consultant submissions
• Ensure all civil and structural designs meet data center operational and hyperscale infrastructure requirements
• Approve Good for Construction (GFC) drawings ensuring constructability and cross-functional coordination
• Manage execution of:
• Earthworks & excavation
• Foundations & piling systems
• RCC and structural steel works
• Building envelope systems
• Architectural finishes
• Ensure construction is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera / MSP, ensuring milestone adherence
• Coordinate with MEP design teams, EPC partners, consultants, and PMO for seamless execution
• Ensure timely handover of civil fronts for MEP installation readiness
• Prepare and manage Core & Shell budgets, monitor cost vs actuals, and drive value engineering initiatives
• Conduct value engineering workshops to optimize cost, timelines, and material utilization
• Implement and enforce QA/QC processes, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with:
• NBC / IS Codes
• Local building regulations
• Fire & safety standards
• Review and interpret geotechnical reports and recommend optimal foundation strategies
• Proactively identify and resolve civilMEP clashes during design and execution phases
• Track and evaluate contractor performance, productivity, and quality metrics
• Drive reduction in NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and defects

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory)
• 1015 years of relevant experience in:
• Large-scale civil construction
• Mission-critical / industrial / infrastructure projects
• Data center projects (strongly preferred)
• Proven experience in Core & Shell construction and structural execution
• Strong expertise in:
• Structural engineering
• Foundation systems & soil mechanics
• Geotechnical analysis
• Hands-on experience in project planning & scheduling (Primavera / MSP)
• Strong experience in budgeting, cost control, and value engineering
• Experience managing EPC contractors, consultants, and multi-stakeholder environments
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD / BIM / Revit
• Strong understanding of QA/QC processes, compliance standards, and safety regulations
• High attention to detail with strong execution discipline
• Ability to manage fast-track, high-pressure infrastructure projects
