Cashier and Sales Associate(FULL TIME)

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and personable Full-Time Cashier and Sales Associate to join our retail team. This role is vital in delivering exceptional customer service, managing sales transactions, and promoting our products. Bilingual abilities and experience in technology sales or merchandising are highly valued to enhance the shopping experience for diverse customers.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their shopping experience
• Operate POS systems accurately for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges
• Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with integrity
• Assist customers with product inquiries, demonstrations, and upselling opportunities
• Maintain organized merchandising displays to attract customer attention and promote products
• Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits of items
• Manage phone inquiries professionally, providing information and directing calls as needed
• Ensure the checkout area remains clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
• Support inventory management by assisting with stock replenishment and organization
• Uphold store policies on safety, cleanliness, and customer confidentiality

Experience

• Previous retail sales or cashiering experience is preferred; technical sales experience is a plus
• Bilingual skills (English and another language) are highly desirable to serve a diverse clientele
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills required
• Experience in merchandising, product demos, or technology sales will be advantageous
• Strong communication skills, time management, and organizational abilities are essential for success in this role
• Ability to provide excellent phone etiquette and customer service in a fast-paced environment
