About the role
As a Sr. Associate, you will play a key role in the execution of M&A transactions, working closely with senior bankers and leading analysts across multiple live deals. This position requires technical expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to manage workstreams while maintaining direct exposure to clients and senior stakeholders.
You will be involved throughout the full deal cycle, from pitching and structuring to execution, due diligence, and closing, in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
About your tasks and responsibilities:
- Lead and support the execution of M&A transactions, including due diligence, valuation, structuring, and closing processes
- Develop and review financial models, including DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions, and LBO analyses
- Prepare and oversee client materials such as pitchbooks, Confidential Information Memoranda (CIMs), management presentations, and buyer lists
- Manage multiple live transactions concurrently, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output across all workstreams
- Supervise and mentor analysts and junior associates, providing guidance on technical work and deliverables
- Coordinate with clients, legal advisors, accountants, and other stakeholders throughout the transaction process
- Participate in client meetings and present analyses, insights, and transaction updates
- Support senior bankers in business development efforts, including preparing marketing materials and industry research
What do you need to be successful in this role?
- 5–7 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or a related advisory environment
- Proven experience working on M&A transactions, with exposure to the full deal cycle preferred
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, with the ability to review and guide junior team members
- Experience managing multiple projects and working under tight deadlines
- Solid understanding of transaction processes and deal structuring
- Demonstrated ability to manage junior team members and coordinate across multiple stakeholders
- Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills
- High level of professionalism, ownership, and attention to detail
