PGT Fine Art Teacher

We are looking for a creative and passionate PGT Fine Art Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of fine arts, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to inspire students to develop their artistic creativity and technical skills. The teacher should foster an engaging and supportive learning environment for senior secondary students.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Fine Art to senior secondary students (Classes XI & XII) as per the prescribed curriculum.
• Plan and deliver engaging, practical, and theory-based lessons.
• Guide students in drawing, painting, sketching, composition, design, and other art techniques.
• Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and artistic expression.
• Assess student performance through practical work, assignments, projects, and examinations.
• Organize art activities, exhibitions, competitions, and school events.
• Maintain student records and academic documentation.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of art materials and classroom resources.
• Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher meetings, and school activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree (MFA/M.A. in Fine Arts or relevant discipline) from a recognized university.
• B.Ed. degree is mandatory.
• Relevant teaching experience as a PGT Fine Art Teacher is preferred.
• Freshers with strong subject knowledge and excellent communication skills may also apply.

Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of Fine Arts concepts and techniques.
• Excellent drawing, painting, and creative skills.
• Effective classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to inspire creativity and innovation among students.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic educational technology.

• Experience teaching CBSE/ICSE/State Board curriculum.
• Familiarity with smart classroom tools and digital teaching methods.
• Experience organizing art exhibitions and student competitions.
