Position: Pharmacy Assistant Needed - Full-Time

Become a crucial part of our pharmacy team as a Pharmacy Assistant. This full-time position involves effective prescription management, compliance checks, and supporting the overall success of pharmacy operations.
As a Pharmacy Assistant, you'll handle the processing of prescriptions using various software tools, ensuring regulatory compliance while conducting comprehensive medication assessments. You'll also engage with pharmacists and other services to address inquiries and support optimizing pharmacy workflows. A strong ability to collaborate within a team is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process prescriptions in GESPHARx and Ubik
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations
- Conduct thorough medication reviews
- Manage renewals and medication resupplies
- Contribute to pharmacy improvement projects
Requirements
- DEP in Pharmacy Technology or equivalent
- 2 years of experience as a pharmacy assistant
- Fluent in English and French;
Inuktitut an asset
- Proficient with pharmacy software and informatics
- Strong teamwork and responsibility
