This role plays a key part in shooting, editing, and delivering content while shaping the creative vision behind how SANS tells its story across video, animation, podcasts, and multimedia worldwide.Partnering closely with the Senior Brand Manager, Senior Content Strategist, and cross‑functional teams across marketing, events, curriculum, and sales, this role conceptualizes and produces high‑quality content aligned with SANS brand standards and business objectives. From defining the look and feel to final delivery, the Video Editor and Multimedia Producer owns the creative direction of each project and leverages AI‑assisted production tools to drive efficiency and scale.Travel is required approximately 30% of the time.As a Video Editor and Multimedia Producer, you will:Strategy and Creative DirectionPartner with Brand and Content teams to execute a cohesive global video strategy aligned to brand, community, and campaign goalsTranslate briefs into clear creative direction—defining visual style, storytelling approach, structure, and overall feelLead concept development from brief through pre‑production, including storyboards, shot lists, and production plansRecommend content formats, channels, and distribution strategies (e.g., YouTube, social, events) to maximize impactPlan and oversee video production for events, coordinating with internal teams and external partnersManage freelancers, agencies, and ongoing video budgetsChampion adoption of emerging and AI‑assisted production tools across the organizationProduction and FilmingShoot and produce video content across formats in a hands‑on capacityFilm on‑site at events, training venues, and other locations, including interviews and live captureConduct on‑camera interviews with instructors, executives, and subject matter expertsManage all aspects of production, including equipment, lighting, audio, and logistics, ensuring consistent qualityEditing, Animation, and Post‑ProductionEdit and deliver end‑to‑end video content across formats, balancing speed and qualityCreate motion graphics and animation independentlyUse tools such as DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop)Leverage AI tools (e.g., Descript, Canva, Frame.io) to streamline workflows and collaborationProduce final assets optimized for multiple channels, including captions, thumbnails, and platform‑specific formatsPodcast and Audio ProductionRecord, edit, and produce podcast and webcast content end‑to‑endEnsure high audio quality across remote and on‑site recordingsRepurpose audio content into short‑form video and social assetsBrand, Workflow, and CollaborationEnsure all content aligns with SANS brand standardsManage multiple projects across global teams and timelinesMaintain organized asset libraries and production archivesCollaborate with Brand, Design, and cross‑functional stakeholdersTrack content performance and apply insights to future workSupport production planning, timelines, and budgetsCoordinate external partners, ensuring quality and timely deliveryPerform other related duties as assigned.What We’re Looking ForEvery SANS employee brings something unique. For this role, we’re looking for candidates with:5+ years of professional experience in video production, multimedia, or a related role (in‑house or agency)Exceptional video shooting and editing skills, with proven ability to self‑shoot and self‑edit across formats and environmentsStrong creative vision, with the ability to translate briefs into clear visual direction and storytelling approachesDemonstrated experience across the full production lifecycle, including scripting, filming, and post‑productionProficiency in DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects; Illustrator/Photoshop a plus)Experience with motion graphics and animationHands‑on experience with AI‑assisted production tools (e.g., Descript) and emerging technologiesConfidence filming on‑site using professional equipment and conducting on‑camera interviewsPodcast or webcast production experience, including recording, editing, and distributionStrong understanding of platform‑specific video formats and performance metrics (e.g., watch time, engagement)Ability to interpret briefs, develop storyboards, and align content to brand strategyExcellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced, global environmentHigh attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to travel up to 30% of the time.Unrestricted authorization to work in the USA; visa sponsorship is not available.Preferred qualifications include:Degree in film, media production, communications, or a related field—or equivalent professional experienceExperience in cybersecurity, technology, or B2B marketing environmentsFamiliarity with project management and digital asset management tools (e.g., Asana)Knowledge of SEO and social media best practices for video, including YouTube optimizationExperience producing content for global audiences across time zonesStill photography skills, including event and portrait capture when neededExperience with collaborative review tools (e.g., Frame.io) for feedback and approvalsBenefits and Perks of Working at SANSWe’re committed to fair and equitable compensation.
