Role and Responsibilities Enable developers to operate highly available, scalable, and cost-optimized applications Drive reliability improvements for managed services and infrastructure Collaborate with development teams to integrate best practices into SDLC Support junior engineers through knowledge sharing (light mentorship Implement industry-standard tools to address evolving needs of internal/external stakeholders Apply DevOps/SRE principles (e.g., SLOs, automation-first) Manage cloud infrastructure, deployments, and release operations Evaluate/adopt new technologies to improve infrastructure efficiency Participate in system design, capacity planning, and platform management Maintain operational documentation (architecture, troubleshooting) Participate in follow-the-sun on-call rotations Skills and Qualifications 5+ years in SRE/DevOps roles Hands-on experience with AWS and cross-cloud (Azure/GCP) fundamentals Practical experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes) and service mesh (Istio) Proficiency with Linux system administration, networking and security Working knowledge of IaC (Terraform/Ansible) and CI/CD (GitHub Actions) Experience with observability tools (Prometheus/Grafana/OpenTelemetry) Scripting skills (Python/Bash) for automation Ability to communicate technical concepts across teams The salary range for this role is expected to be between $86,105 to $128,150 and reflects base salary only. Actual pay will be determined based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, competencies, qualifications, relevant skills and experience. The total rewards package for a Regular Full-Time employee may include variable incentive, savings matching (RRSP/TFSA/NRSP), extended health and dental benefits with spending accounts, wellness and well-being benefits, development opportunities, and other employee perks.
