Role and Responsibilities:

As a Inventory Associate, you will contribute to the efficient movement of products from receiving areas to sales floors while maintaining safety, organization, and product availability. You will partner with other associates to ensure shelves are stocked correctly and members enjoy a smooth and dependable shopping experience.

  • Unload incoming shipments and place merchandise on sales floors and in backroom storage areas.
  • Check delivery quantities and inspect product condition to confirm accuracy and quality standards.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free aisles, shelves, and stockrooms.
  • Rotate inventory in line with company guidelines, including monitoring product dates and freshness.
  • Assist members with courtesy and professionalism when support is needed.
  • Coordinate with team members to complete daily stocking and merchandising responsibilities.
  • Report damaged items, inventory discrepancies, or operational issues to leadership in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to all safety requirements, company policies, and proper equipment usage procedures.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to safely lift, move, and carry merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely.
  • Basic familiarity with inventory handling or stock management processes.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Comfort using handheld devices or inventory tracking tools is an advantage.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods of time.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in retail stocking, warehouse assistance, or inventory-focused positions.
  • Experience operating pallet jacks, forklifts, or similar warehouse equipment.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in retail or warehouse settings.
