ROLE: SENIOR PRODUCER

TEAM: THE KITCHEN NORTH AMERICA

LOCATION: TORONTO (HYBRID - 2 DAYS ONSITE)

ABOUT THE KITCHEN NORTH AMERICA

The Kitchen brings together a range of disciplines and capabilities. It’s a team of creatives, producers, data analysts and social experts working together to deliver remarkable ideas that live in a variety of mediums, from everything from social to TV. This team moves at the speed of culture. It is built to respond to trends and events as they happen, coming up with the ideas that transcend social media to capture the spirit of the moment, earn media impressions, and get the country talking.

Are you ready to join an award-ambitious team that's making waves in the advertising industry? Our incredible team has been recognized internationally by industry giants like Cannes, One Show and was named Campaign's Global ‘In-House Agency of The Year’, further solidifying our position as a leader in the industry. Join us and be a part of something truly special - a team that's dedicated to creating ground-breaking work and pushing limits.

At The Kitchen, we're not just looking for individuals who want to be a part of the advertising industry - we're looking for trailblazers who are ready to lead the way to the next big thing! We want individuals who are passionate about producing award-winning work and have an innate drive to their craft and are eager to generate innovative ideas both within and outside of the brief.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

In this role as a Senior Producer, you’ll use your experience as a production expert to bridge ideas and reality to create breakthrough creative work. You’ll collaborate with creative teams and project managers to source solutions and plan the creation of content.

We need someone to leverage their network of partners and suppliers to create work that’s better than what’s already been done, or to help identify how to do what has never been done before. You and your team will find ways to make great content and experiences at the speed of culture. Your work will make a meaningful impact with a multi-talented team in North America (Toronto & Chicago) that blurs the lines of what advertising can be in today’s always-on, socially connected industry.

For the right candidate, this role offers the opportunity to work with incredible brands at a world-class company, contribute ideas to a creative culture, grow production skills within a collaborative team, and create timely stories for timeless brands.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • PRODUCTION SCOPING: Quickly and reliably scope ideas during the creative process to help manage and shape ideas during development.
  • PRODUCTION PLANNING: Leverage suppliers and creators to plan and execute a range of ideas. Source partners and experts who can bring concepts to life.
  • SHOOT MANAGEMENT: Plan and execute a range of shoots and projects, from large-scale content productions (TV, digital) to smaller photography and sound recording sessions. Manage production schedules and coordinate large teams on-site.
  • CLIENT MANAGEMENT: Create confidence-inspiring pre-production presentations that anticipate brand partner feedback and proactively address concerns.
  • BUDGET MANAGEMENT: Manage costs and production processes, preventing scope creep and cost overruns on large-scale productions.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • 7+ years of experience in a production department at a traditional, digital, or experiential agency that produces content.
  • Proven track record of successful shoots and complex executions.
  • University or college diploma, or other education related to content production.
  • Experience working with creative teams to faithfully bring ideas to life.
  • Experience producing a variety of project types including social content, campaign production, video, motion graphics, and digital banners. Experience with QA, web development, and UI/UX wireframing is a plus.
  • Experience executing integrated productions, overseeing multi-disciplinary teams, vendor procurement and management, and ensuring quality across multiple deliverables and work streams.
  • Experience developing relationships with non-traditional production vendors.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in project management and leading client conversations.
  • Established network of suppliers, technology partners, directors, and creators.
  • Experience managing expenses, invoices, and financial processes.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills in group environments.
  • Passion for food and food marketing.
  • Desire to create award-winning, internationally recognized work.

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $85,000–$110,000. Individual compensation within this range is determined based on job-related factors such as experience, skills, level of responsibility, internal equity, and business needs. This range represents the expected base salary for this role and does not include other elements of The Kitchen’s total rewards program.

The Kitchen, Kraft Heinz, and Salt are committed to Equal Employment Opportunity and to attracting and retaining the most qualified employees regardless of race, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender, age or disability.
