RUST Backend Developer- C++

About the Role

We are hiring for our client for the role of Rust Backend Developer. This is a backend engineering role focused on building high-performance, scalable systems using Rust, with exposure to distributed systems, messaging queues, and modern backend infrastructure. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, solid software development fundamentals, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Location: Pune (Kalyani Nagar)
• Work Mode: Work From Office
• Experience: 5–8 years
• Budget: ₹80,000 per month
• Duration: 6 months contract

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements, break them down, and provide estimations
• Design and develop backend systems using Rust (mandatory) and C/C++ (good to have)
• Understand system architecture and implement scalable, efficient solutions
• Write clean, high-quality, and maintainable code following best practices
• Work on multiple projects and adapt to changing requirements
• Develop and execute unit test cases; ensure thorough testing and bug fixing
• Build and deploy applications, debug issues, and maintain code throughout its lifecycle
• Integrate testing tools and ensure quality assurance standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to technical discussions
• Participate in R&D, develop POCs, and adopt new tools and technologies

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Rust (mandatory)
• Good understanding of C/C++ (preferred)
• Experience with API design and development
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, WebSockets, Docker
• Strong database knowledge: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL
• Understanding of REST and SOAP APIs
• Proficiency in Linux (Ubuntu) and Windows environments
• Knowledge of Bash/Shell scripting
• Strong understanding of OOPs concepts and OS fundamentals
• Experience with Git, Jira, Confluence
• Knowledge of testing and QA methodologies
• Familiarity with JSON, YAML, TOML
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Experience working with VMs and VDIs
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Good to Have

• Experience with Azure DevOps and cloud services

Eligibility Criteria

• 5–8 years of backend development experience
• Candidates available within 0–15 days preferred (up to 30 days for strong profiles)
• Preference for Pune-based or ready-to-relocate candidates
• Strong alignment with the requirement
