Job Description

Ensure the safe, compliant, and efficient production of aerospace electrical cable and wiring harnesses in line with operational objectives of Quality, Safety, Delivery, Cost, and People Development, while fully respecting airworthiness and customer requirements.

The role contributes directly to program performance, customer satisfaction, and audit readiness in a regulated aerospace environment

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Management

• Plan, organize, and manage production activities in line with program schedules and delivery commitments, and ramp-up.
• Ensure manufacturing is executed strictly as per approved and released documentation (drawings, BOMs, routings, work instructions).
• Optimize resources (manpower, workstations, tools, equipment) to achieve performance objectives, in line with skills and calibration requirements
• Track and analyze production KPIs (efficiency, backlog, rework, scrap, Attainment rate etc. )
• Support New Program/Part Introduction and production ramp up
• Play an active role in APQP: Manufacturing feasibility, Tooling and fixture readiness, Process robustness prior to serial production
• Monitor OPEX budget in his perimeter

2. People Management & Skills Development

• Lead, coach, and develop production team leaders and operators.
• Coach Level 1 QRQC team members, practice On Job Training, perform Gemba Walks
• Ensure personnel qualification and authorization for aerospace critical processes:
• Maintain skills matrix, certification records, and training plans.
• Promote a culture of discipline, accountability, and human factors And Safety management
• Actively promotes SAFRAN values and policies in her/his perimeter

3. Continuous Improvement

• Deploy One Safran standards on his/her perimeter, can assess the maturity vs those standards, build and drive the improvement plan
• Deploy continuous improvement practices (Lean, 5S, Kaizen, VSM).
• structured problem solving methods (8D, 5 Why, PFMEA).
• Lead QRQC in his/her perimeter, ensure smooth escalation process from Level 1 to Level 3
• Reduce non quality costs (scrap, rework) while maintaining compliance.
• Contribute to productivity, robustness, and cost control initiatives

4. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

• Ensure compliance with site HSE requirements.
• Promote a zero accident culture and safe working practices.
• Is responsible for HSE risks identification and mitigation for her/his perimeter

5. Quality Compliance

• Ensure full traceability of materials, parts, operators, tools, and processes.
• Ensure applicable standard implementation accordance with AS9100 And company standard
• Ensure non conformities processing and containment
• Support and close actions from audits (internal, customer, regulatory)

6. Cross function team Interface

• Production planning and control
• Quality
• Methods
• Supply Chain
• Facility
• Program Management

Job Requirements

Experience: 8–10 years in manufacturing with aerospace Cable harness manufacturing (Preferable);

3–5 years in leadership roles.

Skills: Aerospace harness manufacturing, drawing interpretation, APQP, AS/EN 9100, AS9102, IPC/WHMA-A-620 Class 3, SAP knowledge.

Soft Skills: Strong leadership, safety mindset, accountability, and problem-solving capability.
