Job Summary
We are looking to add a detail-oriented and hard-working quality inspector to our team. Our ideal candidate must be comfortable working in an industrial environment that may require heavy physical duties. The work will involve frequent standing, bending, twisting, stooping and kneeling. Field work may be required at times as well as varying work hours and overtime. Successful candidates must be ready to show up to work daily and be ready to learn. All training will be provided.
Responsibilities
Working and reporting directly with the Production Manager and Quality Manager, this role will Perform all interim and final inspections on our upfitted vehicles.
- Inspection of all upfitted vehicles
- Ensuring all options per work order are installed
- Reading build documents to ensure vehicles are built to specifications outlined by Kerr and the customer
- Attention to detail
Compensation And Other Benefits
- $25.00 to $27.00 per Hour
- Compensation is commensurate with experience. Includes Health, Dental, and Vision benefits and paid vacation.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous experience in a quality-focused role;
- Be detail-oriented and focused on quality workmanship;
- Possess strong organizational and problem-solving skills;
- Have working knowledge of Microsoft Office and email applications
- Be comfortable in a fast-paced, results-oriented work environment;
- Be a constructive team player and possess and exhibit a positive attitude.
- Higher consideration will be given to candidates who have experience working with electronics, automotive, tools and other hands-on activities.
