Our client is building out their Data & AI platform and is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to help improve how infrastructure is provisioned, automated, and scaled across the organization.

This role sits within the Data & AI team and will focus on building

repeatable, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure

to enable engineers to move faster without reinventing the wheel.

The environment is still maturing, making this a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys

improving systems, establishing guardrails, and increasing engineering velocity .

What You’ll Be Doing

Design and build

cloud-native infrastructure on AWS

Implement and manage

Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)

to standardize provisioning

Build and improve

CI / CD pipelines using GitLab

Establish

repeatable patterns and guardrails

for infrastructure and deployments

Enable Data & AI teams by creating

self-service platform capabilities

Improve system reliability, scalability, and performance

Optimize cloud usage and cost efficiency

Collaborate with engineering teams to streamline onboarding and development workflows

Must-Have Requirements

5–8+ years of experience in

Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering

Strong hands‑on experience with

Deep experience with

Terraform (IaC)

building and maintaining infrastructure

Strong experience with

GitLab CI / CD

Experience building

automation, deployment pipelines, and infrastructure provisioning

Background in

software engineering or scripting (Python, Bash, etc.)

Experience working in

cloud-native environments

Nice-to-Have

Experience supporting

data or AI / ML platforms

Exposure to

Snowflake or modern data stacks

Experience building

internal developer platforms or self‑service tooling

Understanding of

security and governance in cloud environments
