Our Landing Systems Business

Unit headquartered in Troy, Ohio designs, tests and manufactures a wide range of fully integrated landing systems. Our innovative solutions include lighter-weight, high-strength materials; more electric technologies; DURACARB® carbon friction material; EDL® extended life configurations; and innovative aircraft gear, wheel and brake design.

What You Will Do Assure processes, including equipment, fixture design, routings, programming, tooling, and standard work in support of the following processes: Assembly Processes for Aircraft Brakes and Wheels, Machining, Anodize, Chemical Etch, Aluminum Conversion Coating, Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection, Waste Water Treatment, and Shot Peen. Continuously improve quality and productivity using the Ace Operating System for products and processes including compliance to these processes. Identify and implement cost savings as related to direct and indirect labor savings, and expense account budgets.

Ability to lead activities related to compliance audits including AS9100, NADCAP, etc. Provide technical support for serving as liaison between Value Streams, Quality Assurance, EH&S and Design Engineering.
