Our Electronics CPL Team (Procurement Performance & Optimization Organization) within Operations and Supply Chain (OSC) at Raytheon has an excellent opportunity for a Commodity Performance Lead (CPL) to join our team. In this specific role you will partner with a key supplier to manage, prioritize, execute, and resolve issues that prevent the supplier from reworking and delivering product per schedule. This position requires diverse operations, program management, supply chain, and technical background along with the ability to lead across functional and organizational boundaries.
The ideal candidate will draw from extensive operations, program management, and supply chain management skills to lead a cross functional team that manages and oversees the performance of specific suppliers to improve supplier performance and ensure suppliers meet the business objectives they are contracted to achieve and deliver maximum value to Raytheon. The candidate will communicate with all levels of the organizations; have business acumen to immediately connect contractual, operational, sourcing, and technical concerns that may impact a supplier’s ability to perform; and is able to proactively identify and resolve problems efficiently and effectively.
What You Will Do
Develop, implement, and maintain a clear execution and delivery schedule for the supplier's products, in partnership with the supplier
Communicate status (challenges, actions, owners, needs) at various levels within both Raytheon and the supplier
Drive closure of actions that are owned by Raytheon by building relationships
Drive closure of actions at the supplier by gaining trust and clearly communicating Raytheon priorities
Build relationships with supplier counterparts and executives to improve supplier performance and to ensure alignment with our current execution and future business priorities and strategies.
Discuss material, technical, and resource challenges from a position of manufacturing experience
Travel expected at least 25-50% of the time. Currently all suppliers are Domestic for this position
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years experience.

Qualifications We Prefer:
The ability to perform duties with minimal oversight; ability to understand the organization’s goals, create the plan, and then determine the tactical tasks to achieve success.
Ability to travel 25-40% domestically
Leadership experience.
Program Management, Commodity Management, Supplier Performance Management, and/or Procurement experience.
Defense Industry Experience and familiarity with FAR/DFAR requirements.
Demonstrated ability to influence across a matrix organization.
Demonstrated experience developing suppliers and working with suppliers to improve performance and affordability
Demonstrated experience in the Electronic Commodity
Strong analytical skills and the ability to apply critical thinking throughout the supplier performance and oversight process
Skilled in communications, team building, conflict resolution and relationship management to create an effective partnering environment that includes credibility, respect and trust.
Demonstrated ability to lead and present executive level reviews and briefings
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
