Key Responsibilities:
1. Media Relations & Outreach
Media Monitoring: Track daily industry news, competitor coverage, and brand mentions using tools like Cision, Meltwater, or Muck Rack.
Pitching: Draft and distribute personalized pitches to journalists, bloggers, and influencers under the guidance of senior staff.
Database Management: Maintain and update media lists, ensuring contact information for key reporters and outlets is accurate.
2. Content Creation
Writing: Draft press releases, media advisories, pitch letters, and briefing sheets for executive interviews.
Collateral: Assist in developing press kits, fact sheets, and 'frequently asked questions' (FAQs) for product launches or events.
Social PR: Collaborate with the social media team to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.
3. Reporting & Logistics
Coverage Reporting: Compile weekly and monthly 'clips' reports that quantify the reach and impact of PR efforts.
Event Support: Provide on-site support for press conferences, media tours, and industry events.
