Senior Accountant

Come apply now!The Senior Accountant is responsible for core general ledger functions, month‑end close activities, account reconciliations, and financial reporting support. This role works closely with the Senior Controller and Controller and partners daily with staff accountants and accounts payable to ensure accurate and timely financials. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, organized, and comfortable working independently in a fast‑paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with the month‑end close process, including preparing and posting journal entries and reconciling assigned general ledger accountsPrepare bank and balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basisSupport the preparation of monthly financial statements in collaboration with the Senior Controller and ControllerPerform revenue and expense analysis and investigate variances as neededAssist with year‑end audit activities, including preparing schedules and responding to auditor requestsSupport the annual budgeting process and related financial schedulesResearch and resolve accounting issues and discrepanciesCollaborate closely with Staff Accountants, Accounts Payable, and Accounting Systems teamsProvide backup coverage for accounting team members as neededAssist with training and onboarding of new accounting staff, as applicableParticipate in special projects and perform other accounting duties as assigned
