Our client is a large, complex organization looking to hire a Sr Finance Advisor.

This is a unique opportunity for a designated accountant who is highly systems-savvy and enjoys working at the intersection of Finance and Technology.

The Opportunity

This is not a traditional accounting role.

You will act as the bridge between Finance and IT — supporting SAP financial systems, leading integration efforts, and ensuring financial data integrity from source transactions through to consolidated reporting.

You’ll play a key role in:

• Supporting and optimizing SAP financial modules
• Leading financial system cutovers during acquisitions, reorganizations, and structural changes
• Troubleshooting complex system and process issues impacting accounting and reporting
• Supporting financial statement preparation during transition events
• Maintaining master data, hierarchies, and reporting structures
• Driving continuous improvement across finance systems and processes
• Training and supporting finance users across the organization

Must haves:

• CPA designation (or equivalent accounting designation) – mandatory
• 5+ years of experience in a SAP financial systems, finance transformation, or ERP support role
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP financial modules
• Solid understanding of IFRS, SOX, and financial reporting processes
• Experience supporting or leading system integrations, reorganizations, or acquisition-related cutovers
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with reporting/analysis tools
