We are looking for a detail-oriented Receptionist to provide front desk coverage for a short-term contract assignment in Virginia. This role will greet visitors, manage incoming calls, and maintain an organized reception area while representing the organization in an appropriate manner. The position requires business attire and comfort working at the front desk for a full day of coverage, followed by a half-day shift the next day.Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests and direct them to the appropriate contact or meeting area in a courteous and helpful manner.
• Manage a multi-line phone system, answer inbound calls promptly, and route messages accurately to the correct team members.
• Monitor the front desk throughout the assignment and provide attentive on-site support during scheduled office activities.
• Use Microsoft Office applications to review calendars and stay informed of the organization’s daily meeting schedule.
• Maintain a tidy and organized reception space to ensure a positive experience for visitors and staff.
• Communicate clearly with employees and visitors to support smooth day-to-day front office operations.
