Paralegal

We are looking for a Paralegal to support a short-term Contract assignment in Largo, Maryland. This role will focus on reviewing and refining legal documents to ensure accuracy, consistency, and high quality. The ideal candidate brings litigation support experience and can work efficiently in a fast-paced legal environment while handling document-related tasks with care. Responsibilities

• Review, edit, and format legal documents for clarity, accuracy, and completeness.
• Proofread case-related materials to identify inconsistencies, errors, or missing information before submission or distribution.
• Assist attorneys and legal staff by preparing documents used in discovery, civil litigation, and trial support activities.
• Organize and maintain matter files, ensuring records are current and accessible within case management systems.
• Coordinate document updates and revisions based on attorney feedback and case needs.
• Support day-to-day paralegal functions by helping manage documentation tied to active litigation matters.
• Prior experience working as a Paralegal in a litigation-focused legal setting.
• Working knowledge of discovery processes, civil litigation procedures, and trial preparation activities.
• Ability to edit and proofread legal documents with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with case management software and electronic document organization.
• Strong written communication skills and the ability to follow legal formatting standards.
• Capacity to handle a short-term assignment independently and meet immediate deadlines.
