Business Analyst

We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst to join our team in Newmarket, Ontario, on a contract basis for a duration of 1-2 years. In this role, you will play a key part in bridging the gap between technology solutions and business needs, ensuring seamless delivery and operation of enterprise systems. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to develop detailed requirements, functional designs, and quality assurance plans, contributing to innovative solutions and enhancements for existing applications.Responsibilities:

• Analyze and document business requirements by engaging with stakeholders and subject matter experts.
• Develop functional designs, business process flows, and quality assurance plans to support enterprise system implementation.
• Partner with project sponsors and external vendors to ensure alignment of technology solutions with business objectives.
• Conduct gap analyses to identify areas for improvement and propose actionable solutions.
• Coordinate and lead testing efforts, including AB testing, to validate system functionality and performance.
• Utilize Atlassian Jira and other tools to track project progress and manage tasks effectively.
• Support the agile development process by contributing to sprint planning and backlog refinement.
• Prepare detailed business requirement documents and ensure accurate communication of project scope.
• Facilitate training sessions and provide ongoing support for users of enterprise systems.
• Monitor and report on project milestones, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
