We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our insurance client in Toronto, Ontario on a Contract basis. This opportunity is well suited to someone who thrives in a high-volume environment and can bring accuracy, strong communication, and strong follow-through to daily receivables activities. The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining timely payment flow, supporting client communication, and keeping financial records organized and current.Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounts receivable activities, including issuing invoices, applying incoming payments, and maintaining accurate account records.
• Follow up with customers on outstanding balances through clear written and verbal communication to support timely collections.
• Investigate payment discrepancies, resolve billing issues, and reconcile account details to ensure financial information is up to date.
• Process various forms of payment efficiently and accurately while maintaining proper documentation for each transaction.
• Provide responsive service to internal teams and external clients by addressing account inquiries and clarifying payment-related matters.
• Use QuickBooks Online and related systems to track receivables, update account information, and produce supporting documentation as required.
• Assist with increased workload demands by prioritizing open items, monitoring aging reports, and helping keep receivables current.
