Please note this is the only person in accounting reporting to the GM.In this full-time Accounting Manager position, you will:Manage accounting operations and financial reporting for two dynamic companiesOversee job cost accounting and event/project financialsDesign and implement the month-end close processAdminister biweekly payroll for salaried, commissioned, and hourly staffEnsure the timely processing and payment of vendor invoices — maximizing available discountsMonitor staffing and departmental expenses to ensure alignment with budgets, reconciling variances as neededPrepare and analyze monthly financial statementsManage insurance reporting requirementsAccurately calculate, track, and accrue special event offersOversee both accounts receivable and accounts payable functionsWhat you bring:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management5+ years’ hands-on, day-to-day accounting experience through to financial statement preparationProficiency in QuickBooks is a MUST and desktop preferredA solid grasp of debits, credits, and accounting fundamentalsExperience and energy suited to a for-profit, entrepreneurial small businessExceptional attention to detail, organization, and time managementProgressive accounting management responsibilities in your careerA consistently positive, professional attitude — and a strong personal commitment to excellenceSuperb written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsThe ability to effectively prioritize and adapt in a dynamic environmentVerifiable professional references and the ability to pass a background/drug checkWhy join our client?
