We are looking for an entry-level Accountant to support key accounting activities for a company in Parsippany, New Jersey. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who is comfortable working with financial records, assisting with year-end cleanup, and handling daily accounting tasks in a hybrid setting. The role offers a mix of on-site collaboration one day per week and remote work for the remainder of the schedule.Responsibilities:

• Assist with routine accounting operations by preparing and reviewing financial entries to maintain accurate records.
• Support year-end cleanup efforts by organizing accounting documentation and resolving outstanding items.
• Process purchase order-related information and verify supporting records for completeness and accuracy.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and help ensure timely resolution.
• Contribute to accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including tracking transactions and updating records.
• Manage financial images and related documentation to support audit readiness and record retention.
