Accountant - Entry Level

We are looking for an entry-level Accountant to support core financial operations for a manufacturing organization in Parsippany, New Jersey. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who is eager to build hands-on experience in accounting while contributing to accurate and timely financial processing. The position offers exposure to day-to-day accounting activities, reconciliation work, and ERP-based transactions in a collaborative business environment.Responsibilities:

• Process and review financial transactions by assigning accurate account codes and preparing routine journal-related entries.
• Assist with accounts payable activities, including invoice handling, verification of supporting documentation, and entry of payment information into accounting systems.
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to help maintain complete and reliable financial records.
• Support account analysis by reviewing balances, identifying irregularities, and escalating issues when needed.
• Enter, update, and maintain accounting data within ERP and accounting software platforms, including Dynamics NAV.
• Prepare, organize, and manage electronic financial documents using Adobe Acrobat and other standard business tools.
• Contribute to daily accounting operations by assisting with reporting, record maintenance, and other foundational accounting functions.
• Help support system-based accounting workflows and related process updates within ERP environments when assigned.
