ALSO is looking for a full-time Sales Associate to support the launch and growth of our brand in and around Seattle, WA. This is a store-based, customer-facing role that works closely with and reports to the Market Manager to bring ALSO to life through retail experiences, mobile demos, and community activations. You’ll be on the front lines—introducing customers to our vehicles, delivering exceptional experiences, and helping build the foundation of ALSO’s presence in Seattle.
This role is ideal for someone who is energetic, people-oriented, and excited to be part of an early-stage brand with room to grow.
What You Will Do
Customer Experience & Sales Support
- Deliver engaging, high-quality customer experiences on the retail floor, including product demos and test rides.
- Become a product expert on, and educate customers about, ALSO vehicles, features, and benefits, guiding them through demo rides and early consideration to purchase.
- Support local sales goals by converting interest into qualified leads and sales.
- Share customer feedback and insights with the Retail Supervisor and Market Manager to improve execution and experiences.
- Respond to ALSO customers through Customer Support channels, delivering top-notch service and product knowledge that inspires brand loyalty.
- As needed, assist with the setup, execution, and breakdown of mobile demo experiences and local activation events, including driving company vehicles to/from events.
Retail Store Operations
- Support daily retail operations, including opening and closing procedures, merchandising, and general upkeep.
- Deliver best-in-class customer service and demonstrate active selling skills.
- Help create a welcoming, on-brand environment that reflects ALSO’s premium and playful ethos.
Operational Support
- Follow operational, safety, and compliance processes as directed by the Retail Supervisor, Market Coordinator and Market Manager.
What You Will Bring
- 1+ years of experience in retail, events, sales, hospitality, brand ambassador, or customer-facing roles.
- A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed - you actively engage in your professional development.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills—you enjoy talking to people, telling a compelling story, and actively selling products and services.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, field-based environment, including weekends and events - you have a flexible work style and enjoy variety in your work schedule.
- Interest in cycling, electric vehicles and/or innovative consumer brands - your enthusiasm for our brand is infectious!
- Ability to work collaboratively while also taking direction and feedback well - you are a charismatic and fun team player!
- A strong connection to, knowledge of and comfort riding a bike in (INSERT CITY) is a plus!
- Qualify as an authorized driver, meaning you are at least 21 years of age, have a valid U.S. driver’s license with a minimum of three (3) years of licensed driving experience, and can successfully complete a background screening and motor vehicle review - because you’ll be driving our demo van and fleet of bikes to meet customers where they like to ride!
The hourly wage for this position ranges from $23.50 per hour.
