Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to support a busy urgent care clinic in California, Maryland.

This is a true urgent care environment—designed for providers who can operate independently, maintain strong patient flow, and deliver high-quality care across a wide range of presentations.

• Ability to function as a solo provider during shifts
• Comfort seeing 3–4 patients per hour
• Strong procedural skills and independent clinical judgment

Candidates without recent urgent care experience will not be considered.

Opportunity Snapshot

Start Date: ASAP

Schedule

• Minimum 3 shifts per week required
• Clinic open 7 days per week
• Typical hours: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM (12-hour shifts)

Setting:

• Standalone urgent care clinic

Practice Environment

• High-volume outpatient urgent care
• APP operates independently during shifts
• Full clinical and front-office support staff
• Onsite lab and X-ray capabilities
• EMR: Practice Velocity (training provided)

This is a structured, high-efficiency workflow with consistent patient demand.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat urgent care patients (ages 2+)
• Manage acute illnesses and minor injuries
• Interpret labs and X-rays independently
• Perform procedures including:
• Suturing
• Incision & drainage (I&D)
• Digital blocks
• Pelvic exams
• Communicate results and follow-up care with patients
• Complete and sign all charts before the end of each shift

What We’re Looking For

• Active, unrestricted Maryland Nurse Practitioner license
• Recent urgent care or outpatient clinic experience required

Candidates must demonstrate:

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting
• Strong procedural competency
• Confidence reading X-rays (extremities and chest)
• Efficient documentation and patient throughput

Additional Requirements

• Must live within 30–45 miles of California, MD
• Availability for minimum 3 shifts per week
• Clean malpractice and professional history required

• EMR training provided
