Sous la responsabilité du (de la) Chef(fe) d’équipe Production, l’Analyste Réassurance est responsable du traitement des transactions sur les polices d'assurance, du contrôle de la qualité des fichiers de transactions reçus des compagnies cédantes, de l'analyse et de la résolution des transactions rejetées par le processus de validation automatisée et, du traitement des payables et des recevables. Vous collaborerez avec d'autres secteurs du service Administration sur différents mandats, notamment les contrôles et audits internes. En tant que membre du service Administration, vous assumerez la copropriété et serez responsable des objectifs du service.
Responsabilités:
Effectuer le contrôle qualité des fichiers de transactions incluant la mise à jour du croisement des codes utilisés par les clients et ceux du système administratif de réassurance de RGA.
Veiller à ce que toutes les transactions reportées par les clients sur les polices d’assurance soient saisies avec ponctualité dans le système administratif de réassurance de RGA.
Analyser et compléter les transactions complexes rejetées par le processus de validation automatisée.
Analyser et compléter la prolongation des cédules de primes rejetées par le processus de traitement automatisé.
Traiter et suivre la facturation et le paiement des primes de réassurance.
Proposer des niveaux de priorisation pour les interventions liées au traitement des transactions ou à la prolongation des cédules de primes.
Faire saisir les analyses fondées et documentées dans les outils d'archivage du service Administration (Azure DevOps, fiches techniques, etc.).
Rédiger la correspondance pour les clients relativement aux transactions nécessitant un ajustement.
Collaborer avec tous les secteurs du service Administration pour atteindre les objectifs départementaux.
Collaborer avec les vérificateurs internes/externes sur les mandats d'audit.
Toutes autres tâches connexes.
Qualifications:
Baccalauréat en administration ou expérience professionnelle pertinente.
Expérience en administration de la réassurance, un atout.
Connaissances approfondies de la micro-informatique (Excel, Word et Outlook).
Connaissances de SQL, VBA, Power BI ou Power Automate, un atout.
La maîtrise de l’anglais et du français (écrit et parlé) est requise pour analyser les données transactionnelles en anglais et servir ponctuellement la clientèle anglophone.

The purpose of the Administration service is to provide quality data on timely basis to internal and external business partners.

Reporting to the Team Leader Production, you will be responsible for processing transactions on insurance policies, quality control of transaction files received from ceding companies, analyzing and resolving transactions rejected by the automated validation process and processing payables and receivables. You will collaborate with other areas of the Administration service on a range of mandates including internal controls and audits. As part of the Administration service, you will take on joint ownership and be accountable for departmental objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Perform quality control on transaction files including updating the cross-referencing of codes used by clients and those in RGA’s reinsurance administrative system.
• Ensure that all transactions reported by the clients on the insurance policies are captured into RGA’s reinsurance administrative system on a timely basis.
• Analyze and input complex transactions rejected by the automated validation process.
• Analyze and extend premium schedules rejected by the automated validation process.
• Process and track reinsurance premiums billing and payment.
• Propose prioritization levels for interventions related to transactions or extension of premium schedules.
• Enter substantiated and documented analyses in departmental archiving tools (Azure DevOps, data sheets, etc.).
• Draft correspondence for clients regarding transactions requiring adjustment.
• Collaborate with all Administration service areas to achieve departmental goals.
• Collaborate with internal/external auditors on audit assignments.
• Any other related tasks.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or relevant professional experience.
• Experience in reinsurance administration is an asset.
• Professional working proficiency in English and French
(written and spoken) is required to analyze transactional data in English and serve English-speaking clients.
• Broad knowledge of micro-computing (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
• Knowledge of either SQL, VBA, Power BI or Power Automate is an asset.

Compensation Range:
$53,650.00 - $67,050.00 AnnualBase pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan. RGA also maintains a full range of health, retirement, and other employee benefits.
