Ground-floor role for people who want into the commercial HVAC trade and are willing to earn it. You'll load and stage trucks, tear out old equipment, keep the yard and shop clean, organize parts and tools, and support the field and warehouse crews however they need. No experience required — just show up, work hard, and learn. This is the on-ramp: prove yourself here and there's a path to helper, apprentice, and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

Load and unload trucks for commercial HVAC projects, ensuring materials are handled safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean, organized, and accessible yard environment.
Operate a forklift as needed to transport heavy equipment and materials.
Assist with crane lifts to receive and position large HVAC equipment.
Organize and manage parts and tools within designated departments.
Disassemble and remove old equipment for proper disposal or recycling.

Qualifications:

Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks.
Basic knowledge of warehouse or shop operations preferred.
Forklift experience or certification is a plus (or willingness to be trained).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Commitment to workplace safety practices.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographic market up to our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Kelso Industries is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered and forms of compensation that may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.

California Pay Range

$25—$25 USD
