Job Description

Role- Assistant Manager- Solar O&M

Qualification- B.E/ B.Tech- Electrical

Experience- 6-10 years

Location- Barmer, Rajasthan

Job Responsibilities-

• Supervise and verify preventive, breakdown, and scheduled cleaning activities for solar plant equipment including modules and inverters.
• Monitor and troubleshoot inverter and string-related faults, including hands-on resolution of central inverter issues (Hitachi/ Sungrow/ TBEA/ Sineng).
• Oversee SCADA & WMS monitoring and escalate abnormalities to the maintenance team.
• Coordinate with OEMs and the purchase team for spares, AMC, warranty claims, and ensure timely payment processing with accounts.
• Manage inventory of spares, manpower planning, and maintenance budgeting.
• Ensure proper project handover/takeover processes and maintain a log of plant-related issues for follow-up with internal teams.
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and local communities as required for operations support.
• Analyze plant performance parameters against PVsyst design and recommend improvements.
• Prepare and review MIS reports covering plant performance, maintenance activities, and key KPIs.
