Shift Supervisor-Production

Role & responsibilities

Implementation of the plan together with the help of operation assuring the sales and operations plan will be met

Drive improvements in the production area to reduce operational failures, improve plant productivity, product and service quality as well as to eliminate unsafe conditions in the plant

Support people development, employees skills and competencies increase through training needs identification and proper employee development processes implementation.

Responsible for the production area safe operation to minimize risk of accident by enduring PPEs to be used & followed as per the guidelines of Safety Executive with timely instructions & training to all employees in Production.

Manage the entire production in shift by providing guidance and technical support to all production personnel

Facilitates root cause analysis and troubleshooting in order to resolve operational, quality and safety issues.

Preferred candidate profile

Technical:

• +5 years or more of experience in the chemical industry, leading production areas
• Experience in manpower handling like Operators, casuals & others with understanding of issues & resolve it
• Maintain good environment in shift to control the production activities as per plan
• Background in EHS and PSM
• Competent in problem solving
