The Role
As our Operations & Technical Support Specialist, you are the bridge between our automated systems and our clients. You will spend your day ensuring that orders flow smoothly through our Admin Portal, troubleshooting technical hiccups with our developers, and providing support to our users.
What You’ll Do
- Technical Liaison: Act as the first line of defense when an automated order hits a snag. Perform manual interventions when orders cannot be completed through automation alone.
- Client Communications: Respond to inquiries via email, messaging platforms, and phone with clarity and empathy. Support with onboarding new clients to our sandbox or production environments.
- Quality Assurance: Help us stay "Gen III" by assisting with QA testing for new features. You’ll use tools like Postman to investigate API responses and work with developers to log and resolve bugs in DevOps.
- Collaborate: Bring "boots on the ground" client feedback to team meetings to help shape the future of our product.
Your Toolkit
Industry Knowledge:
- Solid understanding of the lease/lien/loan lifecycle in North America.
- Familiarity with PPSA and Corporate registries.
- Bonus Points: Fluency in French and knowledge of the RDPRM.
Technical Chops:
- Experience with Postman and API testing.
- Comfortable in a DevOps environment (ticketing, tracking, and troubleshooting).
- Proficiency with Google Drive, GoTo, and Slack.
Soft Skills:
- Self-Starter: You don’t wait for a manual; you look for solutions.
- Communication: You can explain an issue to a client and a client’s frustration to a developer.
- Adaptability: You thrive in a small-team environment where priorities can shift.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of two years of post-secondary education in Business, Finance, Admin, QA, or Computer Science.
- Must pass a standard background check.
The Logistics
- Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM PST.
- Location: Fully Remote (with occasional in-person meetings depending on yourlocation).
