About Redwood Materials
Redwood is localizing a global battery supply chain that seamlessly integrates recovery, reuse, and recycling — keeping critical minerals in circulation and driving the energy transition. Founded in 2017, we’re delivering low-cost and large-scale energy storage and producing battery materials in the U.S. for the first time, all from batteries we already have.
Digital Transformation Lead, EPC
Our Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) team delivers the infrastructure powering Redwood’s growth. We’re looking for a Digital Transformation Lead to define and execute our EPC digital strategy, streamline workflows, and build in-house tools that enable seamless collaboration across design, engineering, and construction.
You’ll oversee core EPC systems while establishing scalable, data-driven processes that serve as a single source of truth. This role combines hands-on system leadership with long-term vision-setting and includes the opportunity to grow a dedicated digital innovation team.
Responsibilities will include:
- Own and execute the EPC digital roadmap
- Integrate external software solutions and develop internal solutions or add-ons
- Streamline data flow and collaboration across enterprise systems
- Increase team productivity and automated workflows by developing in-house tools using AI-augmented coding
- Partner with EPC, Operations, and Engineering to solve workflow challenges
- Ensure reliability, security, and scalability of digital platforms
- Build governance, training, and adoption programs
- Lead vendor management and system integrations
- Serve as EPC’s digital subject matter expert and advisor
Desired Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in digital transformation, systems integration, or enterprise software operations in EPC, engineering consulting, construction, or energy
- Proven leadership of technical and cross-functional teams
- Strong knowledge of EPC workflows and project lifecycles (utility-scale solar/battery stationary storage a plus)
- Experience with systems like Workday, SmartSheets, Sharepoint, Oracle, and P6
- Expertise in data architecture, APIs, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake, SQL)
- Experience with AI Tools & Technologies (Claude Code or similar AI supported engineering)
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or Business (Master’s a plus)
- Excellent communication and change management skills
The position is full-time. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
