Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and driven Restaurant Manager to lead operations at our Baltimore location. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels in team management, and is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and profitability
- Recruit, train, manage and lead a team of 10+ staff members, including managing scheduling, training, and performance management
- Manage the floor during service ensuring smooth workflow between front of house and back of house
- Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Monitor and manage inventory, including ordering, tracking, and cost control
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety and sanitation regulations, including liquor and food control laws
- Oversee budgets, control labour and food costs and analyze revenue reports to maximize profitability
- Drive revenue growth and operational excellence for a restaurant generating $200K+ in monthly sales
- Implement effective time management practices to optimize staff productivity and service flow
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of restaurant management experience
- Proven experience managing high-volume restaurants with monthly revenues of $200K or more
- Experience managing teams of 10 or more front-of-house staff
- Valid Safe Serve Certification for Food and Alcohol (or equivalent certification recognized in Maryland)
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational, inventory management, and time management abilities
- A people-first mindset with a passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction
