A top law firm is looking for a detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support its Business Law team. You will assist 3 to 4 lawyers by managing documentation, communications, and various administrative functions. The position offers a balanced workload and the opportunity to utilize cutting-edge digital tools for efficient task management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and proofread correspondence and legal documents
  • Manage travel arrangements and lawyers' calendars
  • Organize and archive files using digital platforms
  • Create document comparisons and transcribe dictation
  • Assist with billing and time management entries

Requirements

  • AEC in Legal Secretarial Studies or similar qualification
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a legal setting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; advantageous to know BigHand
  • Must be bilingual in French and English
  • Strong organizational abilities and discretion
