A top law firm is looking for a detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support its Business Law team. You will assist 3 to 4 lawyers by managing documentation, communications, and various administrative functions. The position offers a balanced workload and the opportunity to utilize cutting-edge digital tools for efficient task management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and proofread correspondence and legal documents
- Manage travel arrangements and lawyers' calendars
- Organize and archive files using digital platforms
- Create document comparisons and transcribe dictation
- Assist with billing and time management entries
Requirements
- AEC in Legal Secretarial Studies or similar qualification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a legal setting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; advantageous to know BigHand
- Must be bilingual in French and English
- Strong organizational abilities and discretion
