Description

Empower People Through Technology

At Ray Graham Association for People with Disabilities, we believe technology should empower people—not intimidate them. We are seeking a motivated, service-oriented IT Support & Training Specialist to join our Information Technology team.

This unique entry-level opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys teaching, helping others, and making technology approachable for everyone. Rather than focusing solely on technical support, this role combines hands-on IT assistance with organization-wide technology training, helping employees confidently utilize modern workplace technology while supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Reporting directly to the Director of Information Technology, you'll receive mentorship and hands-on experience across a wide range of technologies while making a meaningful impact every day.

Technology Training & Enablement (Primary Focus)

Technology education is the primary focus of this position. You will:

  • Deliver engaging, hands-on technology training sessions for employees throughout the organization.
  • Help team members confidently use Microsoft 365 applications, AI-powered tools, collaboration platforms, and emerging technologies.
  • Introduce employees to responsible AI usage and organizational best practices.
  • Educate staff on cybersecurity awareness, data protection, password security, phishing prevention, and IT policies using practical, easy-to-understand methods.
  • Develop user-friendly training materials, quick-reference guides, instructional documentation, and short how-to videos.
  • Support adoption of cloud-based technologies and digital collaboration tools.
  • Provide training on laptops, mobile devices, printers, peripherals, and workplace technology.
  • Assist employees with assistive technology and smart-home systems utilized in residential programs.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and promote a technology-first mindset throughout the organization.

IT Support & Technical Experience

In addition to training responsibilities, you will:

  • Provide day-to-day IT support for staff across offices and residential locations.
  • Configure, deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, and related equipment.
  • Assist users in multiple office, residential, and remote work environments.
  • Perform basic network and connectivity troubleshooting.
  • Support smart devices, Internet of Things (IoT) equipment, and connected technology.
  • Assist with implementation, support, and maintenance of smart-home technologies across residential homes.
  • Gain exposure to Microsoft cloud technologies, networking, endpoint management, security, and modern IT infrastructure.
