Job Description

As a Manufacturing Systems Engineering Intern at Raptee Energy, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and optimization of manufacturing processes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing machinery and test systems.
  • Understanding the assembly processes of various sub systems.
  • Designing and developing subassembly stations.
  • Designing and developing special material handling equipment and conveyors.
  • Conducting work study and time study of the assembly process.
  • Optimizing sub-assembly station layouts.
  • Communicating with vendors and supporting the team for procurement of related components.
  • Implementing work ergonomics, safety, and 5S practices.

To qualify for this role, you should:

  • Be enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrate strong academic performance, with a focus on relevant coursework in Manufacturing Processes, Systems Engineering, and automation.
  • Have end-to-end hands-on experience in academic or personal project works.
  • Possess strong CAD skills, with preference given to SolidWorks proficiency.
