Job Overview

We are looking for a creative, data-driven Part-Time Email Marketing & Retention Specialist to manage end-to-end email and WhatsApp campaigns, with a focus on

customer retention and lifecycle marketing

.

This is an

all-in-one role

where you will be responsible for strategy, design, content writing, automation, and retention-focused campaigns to increase repeat purchases and customer loyalty.

The ideal candidate should have experience in the

gifting or e-commerce industry

, especially related to

Rakhi and festive products

, and be proficient in tools like

Brevo (Sendinblue), Wati.io

.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, create, and execute email marketing campaigns for Rakhi and gifting promotions
  • Develop and manage

customer retention strategies

(repeat purchase, re-engagement, win-back campaigns)

  • Design visually appealing email templates aligned with brand identity
  • Write engaging, conversion-focused email copy (subject lines, content, CTAs)
  • Manage and optimise campaigns using

Brevo (Sendinblue)

or similar tools

  • Build and manage

email automation flows

(welcome series, abandoned cart, post-purchase, reactivation)

  • Segment email lists based on customer behaviour, geography, and purchase history
  • Perform A/B testing to improve open rates, click-through rates, and conversions
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide insights with actionable improvements
  • Coordinate with the marketing team for seasonal campaigns (Rakhi, Diwali, etc.)
  • Ensure email deliverability and compliance with email marketing best practices
  • Maintain and grow subscriber database organically

Requirements

  • Proven experience in

email marketing & retention/lifecycle marketing for e-commerce

  • Hands-on experience with

Brevo (Sendinblue),wati.io

or similar email platforms

  • Strong skills in

email design (HTML/CSS basics preferred)

  • Excellent

copywriting and content creation skills

  • Strong understanding of

customer lifecycle, retention funnels, and automation flows

  • Knowledge of the

Rakhi festival and Indian gifting culture

is a strong advantage

  • Ability to analyse data and optimise campaigns for

repeat conversions

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple campaigns
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail
