Overview: Company Overview Dynamic Energy is a premier commercial and utility solar provider with offices throughout the Northeast. Founded in 2008, our company brings together the diverse expertise needed to design, finance, build, and maintain solar energy projects for commercial, institutional, and utility clients. The C&I Team focuses on origination, development, and financing of behind-of-meter distributed generation, PV + battery systems, and community solar throughout the United States. Responsibilities: Job Purpose Dynamic Energy is seeking a Junior Analyst, Distributed Generation, reporting to the Manager of Analyst Operations, to join our growing team. The Junior Analyst will work directly with the sales operations and finance teams and assist with a variety of tasks in the C&I solar project origination, pre-construction, and construction process. This role is a great opportunity for a candidate who has strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to properly prioritize and multi-task. The team works in a hybrid setting (remote and in-person), however fully remote work is possible. This role will require you to communicate effectively, maintain focus, and self-motivate. Key Accountabilities

  • Conduct research on economic issues relevant to the solar industry, such as state and federal policy, market dynamics, and regulatory framework.
  • Advise internal stakeholders, including management and project teams, on economic implications and strategic opportunities.
  • Collect data related to electricity prices, equipment price forecasts, and renewable energy credits to support financial modeling accuracy and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing valuable insights to management for optimizing project economics and maximizing returns on investment.
  • Create and maintain solar and energy storage economic models for prospective projects and clients.
  • Leverage software tools to improve modeling capabilities.
  • Interpret data and forecast trends in financial and energy markets, providing insights for decision-making.
  • Coordinate engagement with financial institutions, tax equity investors and other capital sources.
  • Assistance with coordinating action plans pertaining to specific project stages throughout the sales cycle.
  • Assist with M&A transaction management and asset dispositions including due diligence (data rooms/research), project documentation, transaction closing, portfolio management and other tasks directed by management.
  • Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of key federal, regulatory, and legislative policy updates, drafting slide decks, policy summaries, policy briefs, and other related materials for management.
  • Present research findings and economic insights in tables, graphs, articles, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop customer proposals and presentations.
  • Assistance with state incentive submissions and request for proposals (RFPs). Qualifications: Required Work Experience
  • 0-3 years of related work experience Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, related field, or equivalent work experience Additional Requirements
  • Experience in renewable energy industry preferred
  • Highly proficient in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Strong research, analytical, evaluative, and critical thinking skills, particularly with an attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with others in the company The expected starting pay range for this role is $70,000.00- $80,000.00 USD. This range is an estimate and base pay may be above or below the ranges based on several factors including but not limited to location, work experience, certifications, and education. In addition to base pay, Pattern’s compensation program includes a bonus structure for full-time employees of all levels.
