Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and self-motivated engineer to design, develop, and maintain Backend based applications. The candidate should have a strong experience in developing and deploying backend-based application. Additionally, the candidate must understand the data engineering workflows, machine learning pipelines, and dashboarding tools within Databricks which may be needed as part of the development.

Key Responsibilities:

Application Development:

• Strong Programming & Python Fundamentals, Backend frameworks
• Databases & Data modelling
• API Design & Development, REST API design principles, JSON schemas
• Asynchronous Programming Skills
• Security skills, OWASP Top 10, SQL injection prevention, Input validation, Secure APIs
• Ability to understand and resolve different issue types found in Code Analysis tools
• Generate/Develop Unit Tests using Frameworks and ensure high coverage
• Ability to perform optimizations while developing the APIs

Work Experience

Required Skills

• Background in software engineering, python-based development
• Understanding of AWS cloud platform.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, Git, and CI/CD pipelines to deploy developed artifacts.
• Very strong debugging skills
• Understand Deployment and Devops awareness
• Ownership to take a feature from Requirements understanding to design to implementation to final deployment
• Documentation of design, features

Nice to Have Skills:

• Databricks App Development & Deployment specifics
• Worked with AI Developer tools
