Role Description As an AI Animator at Quantum Visionaries, you will work full time on-site in Richmond, BC, creating high-quality animated sequences using a combination of traditional techniques and AI-powered tools. You will collaborate with directors, designers, and technical artists to interpret concepts, develop storyboards, and translate ideas into compelling motion. Daily tasks include setting up and refining motion capture data, crafting motion graphics, and iterating on animation based on feedback from cross-functional teams. You will assist in optimizing workflows for AI-assisted animation, maintaining visual consistency across projects, and documenting processes to support team-wide efficiency. This role involves regular communication with stakeholders to align on creative vision, timelines, and deliverables.

Qualifications

• Strong Animation and Motion Graphics skills, with the ability to create smooth, expressive movement and visually engaging compositions.
• Experience with Motion Capture workflows, including capturing, cleaning, and integrating data into animation pipelines.
• Proficiency in Storyboarding and visual narrative development to translate concepts into clear sequences and shots.
• Excellent Communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and presenting ideas and work in progress.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted animation tools, 2D/3D software (e.g., Blender, Maya, After Effects), and modern production pipelines.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced studio environment.
• Relevant education or training in animation, digital media, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Portfolio or demo reel showcasing animation, motion graphics, and storytelling work; experience in entertainment, gaming, or advertising is an asset.
