We are looking for a Network Engineer to join one of our clients, a major corporate investment bank based in Montreal.

Missions & Responsibilities

Operate and support network security infrastructure, including firewalls, web proxies (McAfee, Blue Coat), VPN gateways, and load balancers.
Lead and deliver network security projects from inception to completion.
Switching and VPN infrastructure management.
On-call support: Participate in a regular rotation (7 days a month) in standby mode.

Profile Requirements

Certifications: CCNP or CCIE (Security or Enterprise) is required.
Vendor Expertise: Proficiency with Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Check Point, supported by relevant certifications.
Security Standards: CISSP or an equivalent security certification.
Language: Bilingualism in English and French is preferred.

Nice to Have

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Network Engineering.
Experience: 5+ years of experience in network and network security engineering, including operational support and project delivery.
Automation: Basic scripting skills in Bash or Python.
Process: IT service management certifications such as ITIL.
