Job Description
Azure DBA
Toronto, ON- 3 days a week onsite
Fulltime Hire "Total Experience: 8-10 years
Required Skill Set:
- Design, deploy and manage Azure based solutions, ensuring reliability, scalability and security
- Manage, monitor, and maintain Azure Cosmos DB, SQL server environments, including provisioning, patching, and scaling
- Configure and maintain Cosmos DB and SQL server security, including access control and encryption.
- Design, implement, and manage backup and disaster recovery strategies for Cosmos DB and other Azure databases.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Hashi Corp CDKTF and ARM templates
- Understanding of Azure landing zones, Azure Policies, RBAC, networking and identity integration
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate container builds and deployments
- Support patching, upgrades and lifecycle manage of container workloads
- Work with security teams to ensure compliance and industry best practices are adhered to.
