Job Description
As a Power BI & Automation Analyst at PwC, you will be responsible for building insightful dashboards, automating business workflows using Power Automate, and supporting/enabling operational processes using ServiceNow. You will collaborate closely with business and IT stakeholders to translate requirements into analytics and automation solutions, ensuring data accuracy, usability, and adoption.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards/reports (DAX, data modeling, visuals, performance tuning).
- Connect and transform data from multiple sources using Power Query, ensuring data quality and refresh reliability.
- Design and implement workflow automations using Power Automate (approvals, notifications, data sync, integrations).
- Work on ServiceNow tickets/requests, collaborating with stakeholders to resolve issues and support service operations.
- Prepare executive-ready deliverables and updates using Excel and PowerPoint (analysis, storytelling, presentations).
- Gather requirements, document solutions, and support UAT, deployments, and post-go-live enhancements.
- Maintain solution documentation, access controls, and basic governance practices for reports/flows.
- *Mandatory Skills (Must Have):**
- Power BI (reporting, dashboarding, data modeling, DAX, Power Query)
- Power Automate (cloud flows, approvals, integrations)
- ServiceNow (working experience in ticketing and operational workflows)
- Strong working knowledge of Excel (advanced formulas, pivots, data analysis) and PowerPoint
- *Good to Have Skills:**
- Understanding of ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge)
- C or Python programming (automation, scripting, data handling)
- Tableau (basic to intermediate experience)
- *Certifications (Good to Have):**
- Microsoft Power BI certification
- Microsoft Power Automate / Power Platform certification
- ITIL
- CSM (Certified ScrumMaster)
- *Preferred Competencies:**
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
- Stakeholder management and requirement gathering
- Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
