So, if you're ready to seize the endless opportunities and leave your mark, come join us.</p></div><p><strong>THE ROLE</strong></p> <p>As a DevOps Engineer, you will specialize in managing, automating, and optimizing our VMware, cloud and on-prem Kubernetes infrastructure. Your role will be crucial in ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability of our services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect solutions that enhance our engineering operations and meet business needs.</p> <p><strong>WHAT YOU'LL DO</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and reliable VMware, Cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure and IBM)&nbsp; and Kubernetes environments.</li> <li>Design, develop, and implement on prem Openstack/VMware/Kubernetes solutions tailored to the specific needs of our organization.</li> <li>Collaborate with business unit owners to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Openstack and VMware (Kubernetes architecture standard)&nbsp;</li> <li>Implement automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines) to streamline Infrastructure operations and enable self-service workloads(VMs/Pods) lifecycle management for developers.</li> <li>Design and implement observability best practices for Openstack/VMware/Kubernetes</li> <li>Provide expertise and best practices for DevOps methodologies to support continuous improvement.</li> <li>Contribute to the deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of Openstack/VMware/Kubernetes infrastructure.</li> <li>Investigate and recommend enhancements to optimize the efficiency and reliability of the Openstack/VMware/Kubernetes environment</li> <li>Develop and maintain documentation related to the openstack/VMware/Kubernetes private cloud architecture.</li> <li>Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in the Openstack/VMware/Kubernetes ecosystem.</li> <li>Identify and resolve complex technical issues and provide timely solutions<br>Providing infrastructure support for AWS/Azure</li> <li>Participate in the “follow the sun” on call schedule</li> <li>We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Bangalore office in compliance with Everpure's policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.</li> </ul> <p><strong>WHAT YOU BRING</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.</li> <li>10+ years of experience in managing and automating large-scale VMware,OpenStack and or Kubernetes environments.</li> <li>Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, GO.</li> <li>Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices, including experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience in implementing robust solutions for observability and reliability of VMware/Openstack/Kubernetes&nbsp; environments. Familiarity with Observability tools such as Elastic Enterprise, Prometheus, Grafana, Logstash, Fluent-bit or Fluentd</li> <li>Familiarity with Linux, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP</li> <li>Proven work experience as an Openstack/VMware/Kubernetes Engineer or similar role for a minimum of 5 years.</li> <li>Have recent OpenStack/VMware/Kubernetes experience. For Open stack, have experience with at least OpenStack Yoga.
