Job Description

Our client, a well-established company, is looking to add an Accounts Payable Specialist to their team in Ville Saint-Laurent for an 18-month contract.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable managing high-volume accounts payable activities. You will be responsible for processing invoices, managing a high-volume inbox, and ensuring accuracy of financial data, while working closely with internal teams and vendors across the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high-volume AP inbox and respond to vendor inquiries
• Process invoices and ensure accuracy and proper coding
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Support month-end activities and accounts payable processes

Profile Sought

• Experience in accounts payable within a high-volume environment
• Experience in the construction industry is considered an asset
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Fast learner, adaptable, and able to work in a changing environment
• English required, as the role involves communication with U.S.-based stakeholders
