Working Hours: 08.00 - 18.00pm
Rate: £40.00 P/H
We are seeking a highly skilled Band 7 Locum Mammographer to join our team in Nottingham. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility, providing essential breast imaging services to aid in the early detection and diagnosis of breast conditions. Responsibilities:
As a Band 7 Locum Mammographer, you will be responsible for performing high-quality mammographic examinations, including screening and diagnostic procedures. You will operate advanced imaging equipment, ensuring accurate and clear images while maintaining patient safety and comfort. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will adhere to clinical protocols and safety standards, provide support and reassurance to patients, and contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the mammography service.
Requirements:
- HCPC registration as a Radiographer.
- Extensive experience in mammography, ideally at Band 7 level.
- Proficiency in operating mammographic imaging equipment.
- Strong knowledge of breast anatomy, pathology, and imaging techniques.
- In-depth understanding of radiation protection and health and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
